Waaagh!, Elegance Vs Armour (E.Y's diary)

Postby E.y on Wed Oct 31, 2007 1:02 am

Ok i suggested this army diary section, so here is mine.

As with Mr Pats, mine will be a duel diary.

Firstly my mighty Apoc guard army. although I already have over 200 models fully painted for this there is still a lot more to come as you will soon see.

Secondly for some unknown reason. I am about to embark on the army that has thrawted me on no less than 3 seperate occasions. Every time I have failed to complete this force due to either lack of motivation, inability to decide on a colour scheme or army list malfunctions.

They will haunt me until I finish them "The High elves"

I will post some pics as soon as i find my camera charger.

So here we go again

It has begun...................

Have just made my first purchase for my HE army a box of spearmen

It seemed like a nice basic set to start with and it is always good to do a unit first, while you are enthused about the army

started clipping them while sitting in bed last night (didn't get the best nights sleep afterwards).

Sadly (for the diary at least), i will be going on a small holiday in a few days and the elves will have to wait as they don't do to well in luggage :(

the scheme that i have in my head is probably dark green and white colthing, pale green free hand chinese dragon designs and gold/ bronze armour.

this colour scheme looks great in my head but as of yet i am unable to recreate it on the models, thats why i am doing the army diary on them as you will either witness me creating my vision or see my dreams shatter before your eyes.

hopefully Sam the elves will not look like the ones in the store, bit more detail and a lot more free hand is the main stuff .

But it could still all come crashing down :?
