Stu you have gave away your secret painting method you relise!
Ladys and gentlemen boys and girls. Stu mixes HP sauce with his paints to get a unique effect!
You ever going to finish that carnifex. You been doing that for years
Nice to see a "proper" work area! _________________ Shop smart shop S mart.

here are a few picks of the Imp guard army so far.
Sadly my painting time has taken a beating at the moment with House work, meetings, trips to see Bill Bailey (ain't complaining about that one) and loads of shop work needing to be done.
Hopefully though i will get some more done on my HE spear regiment and the pheonix guard that Sword bought me for my birthday.
so stay tuned

Ahhh the HP sauce technique.
It is from an ancient art, passed down from generation to generation since the dawn of time it'self. It has been used by the chinese in the art of caligraphy, As a major part of the magical war paint used by many tribes across the globe, traces have also been found in the odd bacon butty believe it or not.
But now it has been refined for a vital role on the painting table of a select few miniture painters that know it's secret..... "it goes great with chips"
Well you asked

Well over the last few weeks i have been rather busy with just about everything possible.
However i have not been completely idal and have been plowing my way through 16 HE spearmen, but as is traditional when it comes to my HE armies the colour scheme has been frustrating me no end and i am have been faffing round with different stuff to try and get something that i like.
At the moment i have:
Silver armour with a touch of green in it
pastal green sleeves and skirt
Dark angles green for the spear shaft, edging and shield.
But with my twisted mind at work im already thinking about changing the silver armour to dark green and the trim to white.
I will post WIP pics soon.

well as long as ur happy. i wouldn't of gone for it but i suppose i haven't seen them. i did come up with a cool one which u may nik if u want.
armour-light silver
main cloaky thing-scaly green (adding scorpian green
trim-bleached bone.
looks well good. the scaly green idea is my favourite colour for jems, it achieves a nice jade colour.
