WIll and I have just finished a good game tonight....went to a close finish which was a battle between our respective leader. As so often in life i peaked a little too early and Will managed to get the final blow in to pip the game.

It really is a shame there aren't more people playing this as it is a really really good game - i would go so far as to say i prefer the game system to Warhammer, it's simply the lack of local gamers which is frustrating!

Plans for the future - i've got stacks of Khador to paint and we're looking at doing a few tourneys this year .

Don't worry Stu, the scene and game are bubbling away, some of the minis coming out are amazing and the game support and design just gets better and better.

good to hear that stuff is still being done.

Are we going to see some of the Khador in your diary soon then Pat?

 the diary has been somewhat lax recently!!! I've been really busy at work and doing loads of sport in my spare time so, aside from club nights, i've had a really slow 6 weeks of painting Dwarfs and Khador. It possibly also has something to do with getting, assembling and starting to paint my 2250 Wood Elf List!!!

I should possibly re-start my diary under new steam !

It was a good game the other week although the win was a little hollow as I felt I was in control and able to pick off targets I wanted - But I let my guard down and Pat's Warcaster snuck through for a killing blow - and luckily for me just missed out.

I'm currently painting my Cygnar force(s) for the UK open in June and I hope to have some ready to show whithin the next week or two..

Watch this space - but look out for tumble weeds!

Hi All...Captain Stevo here.

Yes its still all go with Warmachine but i havent got round to posting lately as we now have our own forum for Bury Wargamers...so far we have about 20 people playing Warmachine here in Bury with alot of support form other local clubs..Thanks to Magic Dave for is guys turning up to see us...plus we are busy building "islands" for our Warmachine seaboard so its going to be "Anchors away" as soon as we have finish getting to grips with writing all the rules for using ships...mmm maybe have a look at the old Warhammer Ahoy rules and get a few ideas.

Cheers for now.

Captain Stevo :D
