What's recommended for mounting loose (metal) figures

Postby Emrys on Sat Dec 01, 2007 11:57 pm

A bunch of GW's classic Reik on Foot have arrived and a couple of them have tabs way too loose for the slotted plastic bases.

What method do people recommend for getting them to stand properly on the base so that they can be glued upright? I'm not convinced that there's going to be enough purchase between the models' feet and the base for the fix to be firm enough without some sort of assistance.

er. well try pinning it to the base and sticking some green stuff on the underside of the base where the paper clip has gone through

I feel like i have just experienced a little deja vu :?

But anyway.

I said:
If they are metal just bend the tab in the middle with a pair of clippers to create a wedge shape then glue it, that usually hold it nicely

Then Niva said:
Some green stuff after that cant hurt. I usuly wedge it around the metal tab underneath the base as well
