Yellow?

i am starting early this year. and i have started my gd entry. im doing a squad of imperial fist leaders. i have had ago at painting yellow before and it hasn't been to bad but i want it to look shit hot. and at the moment it looks like a cocktail suage(this is on a scale of hotness, and cocktail suages are often quite cold). the models look awsome and i want to do them justest. so yeah any tips on yellow?
