Black Industries have posted a taster scenario
Haven't read it yet, but could be interesting
I'm just not sure that they need to do 3 different RPG's for the setting

After reading this scenario I'm not sure it's really that different from WHFRP to be honest, although apparently there's loads of things they've left out that you have to buy the game to read. I think after all the time they've spent making it it should be a corker - but having said that I think it's highly cheeky of them to release it in 3 bits - doesn't seem to be any real reason other than making more money...

The 3 part idea is no different to White wolf though is it

Vampire, Werewolf, Mage . . . .

Exalthed, Dragon Blooded . . . .

Scion, Demigod . . . .

It is just one of those things.

how does it play though?
I enjoyed the WHFRG when i played it a few years ago with some mates, would be nice to bring it into the 41st millienum.

I read yesterday that Black INdustries (lead behind WH40K RP) is closing down their RP division in favour of solely pushing novels.

Seems strange as Dark Heresey seemed to be receiving great reviews!

To be honest I think the two extra books should probably give you all you need. It's nice to have some "official" adventures around when running a campaign just to have something to fall back on, but half the time you have to be more careful, just to make sure it fits with the other stuff your doing.

Still, think I'll go get some of the Warhammer 2nd ed stuff before it's unavailable

Lookes like fanasty fight games will be taking this over.

Also were going to give DH a go dwon at sudbury, first time for most of us doing an RPG so any hints or link to website's on how to be a PC would be great.
