Gloss varnish and natural light mate no worries!

Nah Im with Sam on this one subtle Gry/ blue highlights. If it goes too grey a watered down black glazes sorts it out nicely!

I like the idea of highlighting black with a faint blue, that might just work for what I have my idea based around.

I did some ravenwing land speeders highlighted with Regal blue then super highlighted with regal mixed with Ultramarines.

That turned out very nicely, and was quick too.

im not too sure about this. i wont look like black. it will just give the impression of dark blue. i would be interested in seeing some pics though. im gues u wont to know how to do good black for uthwe. well i woud go with adding shadow grey or fenris grey to black. watering it down, doing about 3 blended very graudual layers and then highlighting the edges of the cloak with 2parts shadow 1 part fortress and 2parts water. that should sort u out nice and propper plus it will contrast well with the bleached bone and the red. this is all do to with colour theory, possibly stick a bit of an orange wash over the bleached bone(very subtle though) and this will make the black stand out even more. good luck matey :D
