thats quite a hard one to answer. there are many techniques used for detail(free hand, eyes, nmh, highlighting, source lighting) but the best advice i can give u is take ur time and use fine brushes with watered down paint. im painting a librarian atm, so i could post a tutorial on how to paint him including details on blending and tricky bits.

Best advice i give to everyone when it comes to painting is good light and good brushes.

Use a nice daylight lamp to paint under, what you cant see you cant paint and use nice brushes, winsor and newton or da vinci, they keep there points a lot longer then most brushes.

Research, allways look at what other painters do, ask them questions, most are willing to talk about how they do things.

What are you having trouble with at this moment in time? the concept of painting?

overall mate they aren't bad. one thing i would suggest to neaten it up is do a wash of this mix
3parts black ink 1 part PVA 3 parts water. do a wash of that over ur models and the mettal will look much better. also for the green eyes use scopian green and use a fine detail brush :D
